Alpha Pi Chapter Events

  • At Delta Gamma, sisterhood means making memories that last a lifetime—and we know how to have fun! From laughter-filled date dashes and elegant formals, to laid-back days tanning together at the house (yes, we even have a slip and slide!), there's never a dull moment.

We love sharing meals outside in the yard, enjoying sunshine and great company, and playing volleyball at sunset—one of our favorite ways to unwind together. Our house is always buzzing with energy during sisterhood events, Homecoming, and Spring Fling celebrations.

Every moment we spend together brings us closer, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Delta Gamma isn’t just a sorority—it’s where memories are made and friendships flourish.

  • Service for Sight has been at the heart of Delta Gamma’s philanthropic mission since 1936. The Delta Gamma Foundation has given over $6 Million in Service for Sight grants to organizations and schools that share the Foundation’s mission: to promote sight preservation and assistance to children and adults who are blind or visually impaired.

Each year, the Alpha Pi Chapter of Delta Gamma Sorority at the University of Arizona organizes and hosts two philanthropic week long events to support our local and national philanthropies: Anchor Splash and Spring Splash.

Anchor Splash has become an anticipated tradition for the Greek Community at the UofA. The Panhellenic and Infraternal Council as well as other organizations on campus compete in a week-long philanthropy fundraiser consisting of three main events: a dance competition, Domino’s with DG, and a talent show.

During the Spring, Alpha Pi chapter hosts Spring Splash. Which consists of local pop up shops percentage shares, food fundraisers, and the week ends with our pickleball tournament Serves for Sight! Our pickleball tournament has become an anticipated and high energy game between the Greek community. Bringing people together while sharing our mission to Do Good.

Our chapter has the privilege to be able to connect first hand with The Foundation for Blind Children School in Phoenix and Tucson Guide Dog Raisers. These are a few of the causes that we support through the donations made to our Foundation and Alpha Pi fundraising.

During the 2025/2026 year the Alpha Pi Chapter raised over $61,000 for Service for Sight and the Delta Gamma Foundation! We look forward to next years philanthropy events, in hopes to exceed our previous years fundraising amount.

  • At Delta Gamma, we take pride in the well-rounded and driven women who make up our chapter. Our sisters are active contributors to campus life and the broader community, pursuing excellence both in and out of the classroom.

Our members are involved in a wide range of student organizations and activities, including Pom Line, Arizona Wellness Society, and other academic and service-oriented clubs. We represent a diverse array of majors such as Business, Nursing, Veterinary Sciences, Finance, Marketing, Public Health, Communications, and Law, each sister bringing her own unique perspective and ambition.

Collaboration and connection with the greater Greek community are also important to us. We’ve partnered with Gamma Phi Beta for both social and philanthropic events, including a joint service event and ongoing participation in Service for Sight, where we assembled care packages to support those in need.

Our commitment to sisterhood is reflected in everything we do—from picnics and casual meet-and-greets to shared initiatives with fellow sororities. These experiences not only deepen our bond but also allow us to grow as leaders, students, and women of impact.

  • Family means everything to us at Delta Gamma — and we love showing our parents just how much they’re a part of our sisterhood!

Spring 2026 was all about celebrating the incredible men who raised us during Dad’s Weekend — filled with U of A Basketball watch party, bonding, and amazing memories.

Coming Spring 2027… get ready, moms! Mom’s Weekend is on the horizon, and we’re planning an unforgettable time of laughs, games, and special moments with the women who’ve supported us every step of the way.

Whether it's sharing stories, cheering each other on, or just enjoying time together, Parents Weekend is one of the most heartwarming and fun-filled events of the year! Parent’s Weekend 2026 will take place on October 2nd-4th! Stay tuned for more updates.
